PERITAS Cat Litter Box Pad Ultra Absorbent Carbon

Description

Product Overview

PERITAS cat litter box pads are engineered to fit the Tidy Cats Breeze litter system and similar trays, measuring 16.9 x 11.4 inches (43 x 29 cm). Constructed with a thick, leak‑proof plastic backing, each pad features DrySpeed gel technology that instantly transforms liquid into a stable gel, allowing a single sheet to hold more than 7 cups (over 1,600 ml) of urine. Integrated activated carbon fibers actively neutralize odors, extending freshness for up to seven days for a single cat. The pads are offered in 20‑count and 80‑count packages, with size options labeled Carbon, Original, and Scented to match user preferences.

Usage

These pads are ideal for indoor cats using Breeze‑style litter boxes, multi‑cat households, and owners seeking a low‑maintenance solution. Simply place a pad inside the litter box drawer, add your preferred litter, and let the pad handle spills and odors. The strong plastic bottom prevents leaks onto flooring, making them suitable for hardwood, tile, or carpeted areas. Replace the pad when it becomes saturated or after a week of use for optimal odor control.

FAQ

How often should I replace the pad?

For a single cat, replace the pad after about one week of use or when it appears saturated. In multi‑cat homes, changing every 3‑4 days maintains optimal odor control.

Can I use the pad with any litter type?

Yes, the pad works with clumping, crystal, and biodegradable litters. It sits beneath the litter, so the type you prefer does not affect its performance.

Is the pad safe for kittens?

The pad is made of non‑toxic materials and the carbon layer is sealed, making it safe for kittens and adult cats alike.

Do the pads have a scent?

Standard Carbon and Original pads are unscented, while the Scented option adds a mild, cat‑friendly fragrance to further mask odors.

What size box does the pad fit?

The pad is designed for the Breeze litter box drawer (approximately 16.9 x 11.4 inches) and other trays of similar dimensions.
